Hey lovely people!

This last week I built a giant 8 X 8 frame in my apartment, because the comic book I’ve been working on for an eternity is getting longer and longer. This is what it looks like! It was originally supposed to just be a 30 page xeroxed mini-comic, and the fact that it’s gotten so long is really exciting and also it makes me feel a little like this:

…because there’s still soooo muuuch left to do (or so it seems).

While all creative powers are being funneled into the comic book and making my cat look bizarre and adorable (see here) you can check out the podcast I’m making with my friend Garrett here.

Hey guess what!
You know when you have a giant unfinished creative project and you should be working more and you also have chronic fatigue and then you’re like, that’s really not enough, LET’S START A PODCAST to your friend Garrett? Well, I do my friends. And here it is!

The podcast is called Rainy Day Club and you can listen to the first episode here. I wasn’t going to post the first episode because it’s kind of awkward and I had a small heart attack when I listened to it and realized I still sound like I’m wearing a retainer when I talk (worst fears realized), but I’m posting it anyways, because there are more important things to feel weird about than the excess of saliva in your mouth that is apparently audible at all times. Anyways, more to come and I hope you enjoy!

APE was pretty fun and I got a good stash of comics, including the maaarvelous comic The Melinderly.

It’s by Melinda Tracey Boyce. It looks so tasty I kind of wanted to eat it. Get it! Geeeeet iiiiiiit.
Also, something else I discovered at APE is I’m really into felted food. I found a wonderland of felted donuts when I was hunting for comics which I did not buy since I feel I should only be spending my money on food I can actually eat, but now every morning I wake up wondering if today is the day I will blow a ton of money on felted food items so I can just have them around and fondle them endlessly.

FYI that donut is from the etsy store milkfly. DOESN’T IT LOOK DELICIOUS?!?!
